Program

Hoof and Harness provides, free, one-on-one, horse centered programming, driving lessons and therapeutic games and sensory processing activities. We use the methods established by Spirit Horse International, Inc.

Our lessons run in 6 week segments, seasonally. In doing so our students can see increased muscle tone, coordination and strength, self confidence, fine motor skill, sequencing, communication skills, posture and overall quality of life. We also offer EAT (Equine Assisted Therapy) with a licensed Equine Mental Health Professional and licensed counselor to focus on developmental trauma.

Our “Cowboy Cruise-Thru” was well received and our students were very excited to be here!  The pandemic has affected all of us, but we see the impact it has made on the special needs community.  The isolation we are experiencing has been very hard on our students and their families. Most of our families live in the reality of isolation on a daily...
