Our 2026 is off to a great start at Hoof and Harness! Students from the Boys and Girls Club (above) have been enjoying trips to the farm! We couldn’t run our program without our generous volunteers and March brought lots of training and fellowship. One of our therapy horses “Waldo” was on TV and went to a local church program. We participated in a Luke 14 event at Manley Baptist. Silver, the rockstar horse who helped launch our program, retired after many years of service and is enjoying life!
Students went through “horse communication training.” Several of our Carson-Newman volunteers earned their degrees. Students hit new milestones in our program. June is “water month” to help escape the heat and our new sensory trail down to the creek was completed and is in use!
